Ackerman Institute Treatment Center
At the Ackerman Institute Treatment Center, trained therapists help families from all ethnic, economic and religious backgrounds. Therapy is provided by psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers on the Ackerman faculty and by clinicians in postgraduate training and supervision at Ackerman. The Treatment Center helps families with problems including, but not limited to, school difficulties, child and adolescent problems, marital issues, divorce, bereavement, learning disabilities, family violence, child abuse and incest, and chronic medical illness including AIDS. Families from all boroughs of New York City and from the larger tri-state area are welcome. Fees are on a sliding scale based on family income. Ackerman is an in-network provider for Oxford, HIP, MetroPlus, and Health First. Medicaid is accepted.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

American Breast Cancer Foundation
Through the Key to Life Breast Cancer Screening Assistance Program, the ABCF provides financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured patients for breast cancer testing and support services.

Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry
ABCCM's clinic provides free medical, dental and pharmaceutical care to anyone without health insurance, medicare or medicaid whose income is less than 200 percent of the federal poverty level.
Buncombe County Health Center
The Buncombe County Health Center offers free testing and counseling for HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases. There's also free tuberculosis treatment, and prenatal care on a sliding scale. Family planning is free for people ages 18 or younger, and maternity care, coordination of child services, women's cardiovascular wellness and infant nutrition are all free of charge.

This is a searchable database of clinics that provide low-cost or free care to people without health insurance. Users can enter an address or zip code, or state and county for a list of clinics in their area.
Community Health Centers (CHC) in Connecticut
There are 59 CHCs throughout Connecticut that provide primary healthcare services to uninsured patients on a "sliding fee" basis. There are seven locations in Hartford (including Malta House of Care). Anyone in the state of CT may dial 2-1-1 to speak to a specialist.
Faith Family Clinic - San Antonio

The National Association of Free Clinics is the only national non-profit that provides a range of medical, dental, pharmacy, and/or behavioral health services to economically disadvantaged individuals who are predominately uninsured. Their website allows you to search by state to find free clinics in your area.

Connect Care is a mobile truck that is touring the country providing remote connectivity to medical specialists for those in remote areas. Check their web schedule for locations, dates, and times that the truck will be in your area.
Family Van
The Family Van has been serving underprivileged families for 17 years. The van, staffed by health educators, nurses, medical school students and other healthcare professionals (no docs), provides health counseling, screenings for things like hypertension, cholesterol, blood glucose, glaucoma, pregnancy, HIV/ AIDS, and BMI. The Family Van provides risk assessment services only, so if you need follow-up care, they will refer you to a medical doctor.
Greater New Orleans Mobile Unit Consortium
The Greater New Orleans Mobile Unit Consortium is comprised of twelve mobile health units that have a common goal of providing health care for our New Orleans neighbors. Villiage Mobile Health Clinic
The Mobile Health Clinic is an outreach of the San Diego Health & Faith Alliance and St. Vincent de Paul Village Family Health Center, a clinic located within Father Joe’s Villages. It is an extension of the Alliance’s mission to provide health care services free of charge to those who have no other access to care by taking these services into communities where they are most needed. Its services are available to the homeless as well as neighbors who have housing but no healthcare - the poor for whom there is no safety net. The Mobile Health Clinic provides its services through the collaborative efforts of several universities and accredited professional training programs in San Diego County. Services will be provided by healthcare professional trainees from San Diego educational institutions, under the supervision of their faculty members.
